52 named to NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team

Fifty-two Connecticut College student-athletes have been named to the 2020 NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team, the league announced last month.

To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be in good standing on their team with a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.50. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.

Connecticut College’s women’s soccer team placed 15 student-athletes on the team, which was the highest number of selections among Camel programs. Volleyball (8), women’s cross country (8), men’s soccer (7), field hockey (6), men’s cross country (5), and men’s water polo (4) also had athletes chosen.

Thirteen student-athletes were named to the list for the second time, and two seniors—women’s soccer captain Tori Kretzmer ’21 and volleyball captain McKaela Simons ’21—were recognized with the achievement for the third time.
